Snap protest: Gaza is starving. Let aid in, sanction Israel now!
Over 2 million people are at risk of starvation in Gaza. Yesterday at least 19 Palestinians died from starvation – murdered as a result of the siege of Gaza that prevents trucks of aid from entering. When aid is available, sites are used to target Palestinians – with over 100 Palestinians murdered over the weekend while trying to access food.
This is a desperate situation. It demands immediate action, not just words by the Australian government. We demand:
– Sanctions be placed on Israel
– An immediate 2-way arms embargo
– Expulsion of the Israeli ambassador
– An end to the bombing and let aid in
